Shipping & Delivery

Returns & Exchanges

At Taksha Design Studio, each piece is carefully crafted to order. Delivery timelines may vary depending on product complexity, material availability, and order volume.

Processing Time

  • Custom furniture orders typically require 4–8 weeks for production.

  • Delivery timelines will be communicated at the time of order confirmation.

Delivery Areas

  • We currently deliver across Kenya.

  • Delivery outside Kenya may be arranged upon request and will be subject to additional shipping charges.

Delivery Charges

  • Delivery fees are calculated based on the destination and size of the order.

  • The applicable delivery charge will be communicated before order confirmation.

Inspection Upon Delivery

  • Customers are encouraged to inspect products upon delivery.

  • Any visible damage must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.

Delays

While we strive to meet estimated delivery dates, Taksha Design Studio shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including transportation disruptions, supplier delays, or force majeure events.

At Taksha Design Studio, most products are custom-made to order. Due to the personalized nature of our work, refunds are handled as follows:

Custom Furniture Orders

  • Deposits are non-refundable once production has commenced.

  • Custom-made products are not eligible for refunds or exchanges unless they arrive damaged or materially different from the approved design.

Damaged or Defective Products

  • Claims for damaged or defective products must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery, including photographs of the issue.

  • Upon verification, we will repair, replace, or provide an appropriate resolution at our discretion.

Order Cancellations

  • Orders cancelled before production begins may be eligible for a partial refund, excluding any design, consultation, or administrative costs already incurred.

Interior Design Services

  • Fees for completed design work, consultations, drawings, renderings, and related professional services are non-refundable.
